Publication number: US20220191001A1
Application number: 17/536,410

Abstract:
Disclosed herein are systems and methods for improved performance of phase-locked loop based clock generators, particularly in the context of wireless audio. A PLL clock generator includes a PLL core configured to receive a module reference clock provided by a communications module and generate a subsystem data clock corresponding to a module data clock of the communications module; and a data clock tracker module configured to receive the module data and subsystem data clocks and determine a corresponding data clock correction factor. The bandwidth of the PLL core may be dynamically changed thereby enabling both fast and very precise settling. The PLL core may use a low jitter frequency reference for the phase detector while an a synchronous and jitter-prone audio sample clock is used to ensure a mean frequency of the PLL core tracks the audio sample clock.

Application number: 17/510,074

Abstract:
An electronic device incudes a rotatable interface configured to be placed on an input device, the rotatable interface including a conductor region and an adjacent patterned region. The rotatable device further includes a first set of coupling electrodes configured to be electrically coupled to the conductor region and to receive a reference signal from a first electrode of the input device, and a second set of coupling electrodes configured to be electrically coupled to the patterned region and to be electrically coupled to a second electrode of the input device, the second electrode configured to receive a resulting signal modified by the rotatable interface. In embodiments, at least a portion of each electrode of the first set of coupling electrodes and the second set of coupling electrodes is respectively provided underneath the conductor and patterned regions, and is configured to abut the input device.

Application number: 17/507,602

Abstract:
The present implementations relate to a support structure for an input device that supports deflection of an input surface responsive to input forces exerted thereon and vibration of the input surface responsive to haptic feedback generated by a haptic actuator. The support structure includes one or more fixed structures mounted to a housing and a dynamic surface mounted to a sensor layer of the input device. A number of first deformable segments cantilever from the one or more fixed surfaces and deflect in a vertical direction when an input force is exerted on the sensor layer, where the input force is orthogonal to the input surface. A number of second deformable segments connect the plurality of first deformable segments to the dynamic surface and deflect in a horizontal direction when shear forces are exerted on the dynamic surface, where the shear forces are parallel to the input surface.
