Publication number: US20220101575A1
Application number: 17/545,903

Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media for removing an anchor point from a Bezier spline while preserving the shape of the Bezier spline. For example, the disclosed systems can replace adjacent input segments of an initial Bezier spline that are connected at an anchor point with a new contiguous segment that does not include an anchor point and that spans the portion of the spline covered by the adjacent segments. The disclosed systems can utilize an objective function to determine tangent vectors that indicate locations of control points for generating the new segment to replace the adjacent segments. In addition, the disclosed systems can generate a modified Bezier spline that includes the new segment in place of the adjacent segments of the initial Bezier spline.

Publication number: US20220092790A1
Application number: 17/544,048

Abstract:
In implementations of object boundary generation, a computing device implements a boundary system to receive a mask defining a contour of an object depicted in a digital image, the mask having a lower resolution than the digital image. The boundary system maps a curve to the contour of the object and extracts strips of pixels from the digital image which are normal to points of the curve. A sample of the digital image is generated using the extracted strips of pixels which is input to a machine learning model. The machine learning model outputs a representation of a boundary of the object by processing the sample of the digital image.

Publication number: US20220100791A1
Application number: 17/544,689

Abstract:
Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media are disclosed for determining multi-term contextual tags for digital content and propagating the multi-term contextual tags to additional digital content. For instance, the disclosed systems can utilize search query supervision to determine and associate multi-term contextual tags (e.g., tags that represent a specific concept based on the order of the terms in the tag) with digital content. Furthermore, the disclosed systems can propagate the multi-term contextual tags determined for the digital content to additional digital content based on similarities between the digital content and additional digital content (e.g., utilizing clustering techniques). Additionally, the disclosed systems can provide digital content as search results based on the associated multi-term contextual tags.
